A credit is $0.10 at face. Browsing, saving, folders, spec sheets and sending a piece to the atelier are free — you are never charged to ask us to make something.
Questions we get asked.
- What is a credit?
- A credit buys rendered work, priced by what we ask the model to do. Remixing a piece from the collection into four new directions costs 8 credits; starting from a blank page costs 16, because nothing anchors it. Every finish, setting, or variation after that costs 1.
- What is free?
- Browsing, saving, folders, spec sheets, and sending a piece to the atelier for a quote. You are never charged to ask us to make something.
- Do I need a plan to try it?
- No. Every studio opens with 20 credits and no card. A plan is for when you are specifying regularly.
- Can I order without a plan?
- Yes — ordering needs an approved trade account, not a subscription. The plan buys studio time; the trade account is what lets us quote and cast for you.
- What happens to credits I do not use?
- They reset at the start of each month — credits do not roll over. The allowance is sized so a practice never runs out in normal use, rather than as something to bank.
- Is the plan how you make your money?
- No. The plan covers studio time. We make our money when a piece you designed gets sampled and produced — which is why sampling is included, and why trade terms apply to anything you order.
- Who owns what I design?
- The renders are yours to use — client decks, mood boards, anything. Designs that started from a piece in our collection are cast by us; a design from a blank page or your own image is yours to produce anywhere. The full policy is short and worth reading.
